Remko van der Lugt

Remko van der Lugt (Ph.D.) studies how designers’ ways of working, tools and mindset can support and speed up innovation for transition processes. In his work integrates the fields of participatory design and co-design with the fields of systemic work and systems thinking. Remko is Professor of Co-Design at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and co-director of the research Centre for Learning and Innovation. He is actively involved with the HU’s two Centres of Expertise: Smart Sustainable Ciities and Talent &Skill. He has a wide experience in facilitating creative problem solving and co-design processes in practice (both non-profit and profit organisations).
